This fixed-time skip-the-line ticket is for the Colosseum (excluding the Dungeons) and comes with tickitaly.com's English downloadable audioguide (plus accompanying map). The ticket also includes later access to the Forum and the Palatine Hill, although you may have to queue for entrance for these attractions.
Fast-track tickets are full-price only and allow direct entrance - just scan your code at the turnstiles (e-ticket or print), and you're in. For the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, you are able to visit (once) at any time during the 24 hours after your Colosseum visit, opening hours permitting. The Colosseum visit must be at the time specified - regulations are strict on this.
This 'Gold' ticket means that, at most times of year, you should not be affected by the quota-system (a limit on maximum number of visitors) now used at the Colosseum, and will be allowed in at the time you specified. If the Colosseum is exceptionally full, you may face small delays, but not the sort of delay you may face with the standard ticket.
This is a skip-the-line ticket in that you'll not need to join the long queues for those that have not pre-booked, though you - and all other visitors - will still need to pass through a security queue.
Important: Security measures have been increased at the Colosseum and, even though this ticket is for entrance at a specific time, the authorities are currently telling all visitors to arrive approximately 30 minutes before entrance time. Please see this page for the most up to date information.
The audioguide comes in either mp3 or m4a formats and can be downloaded when you print your entrance vouchers. This is an optional but free download - you may choose to pay to rent a dedicated audio guide on the spot, should you prefer.
A little more information on types of tickets that you may find useful:
All of our Colosseum tickets are skip-the-line ones, and with this 'fast track' ticket you can go directly to the entrance turnstiles without needing to exchange the voucher for tickets - the voucher is your ticket; you will never need to join the often gargantuan queues for people who are trying to buy tickets on the day of their visit! Your confirmation vouchers will have full instructions and directions on where to go when in Rome.
'Gold' (fixed-time) tickets allow you to choose your visit time when placing an order, and that's when you'll be granted admission. If the Colosseum has reached its maximum capacity then you'll be told that you may have to wait for a small amount of time, but the staff will always give priority to 'Gold' entrance times.
This is the 'fast track' version of the Gold ticket. You can take it directly to the entrance turnstiles, scan it, and you're in. The one restriction is that it is for full-priced tickets only. If you need any reduced or complimentary tickets then please purchase the standard 'Gold' tickets, with which you'll be issued a voucher that'll be exchanged at the colosseum ticket desk for your actual entrance tickets. This is necessary because the colosseum staff require proof of qualification for any reduced or complimentary tickets.
The ticket, once collected, must be used on the same day and also includes admission to the Palatine Hill and museum and to the Roman Forum area.
Opening times:
The Colosseum is open almost every day of the year, excluding Christmas Day and New Year's Day, although opening times vary by season (and may be changed at short notice due to coronavirus restrictions):
Please note that last entry is one hour before closing time.

Please note that you must comply with the following conditions in order to enter:
Access to the Colosseum will be exclusively from the "Sperone Valadier" and can be used by individuals or groups of up to 14 people, adequately spaced, who will enter every 15 minutes and will always be accompanied along the entire route. The group limit includes all visitors including adults, children and guides.
For security reasons it will not be possible to admit more than 600 people per day and all visitors will be checked on entry.
To facilitate the security checks, please insert any object (including mobile phones) in the backpack or in the special tray to be inserted into the x-ray machine.
You will not be allowed to enter with bottles, glass containers, alcoholic drinks and spray cans, camping backpacks, bulky bags, suitcases or trolleys. While medium and small shoulder backpacks are permitted they will, like any other bag, be passed through the metal detector.
Visitors must arrive 15 minutes before their access time, wearing a mask. With confirmation you will receive a link to download an App for your mobile device - this App is essential for your visit to the Colosseum.
If your tour includes an audioguide device provided by the Colosseum, you must bring your own earphones.
Available routes will be available through the Colosseum, but these may vary on the day for security reasons and depending on availability.
These conditions may be changed without notice as Italian regulations are updated.
If you are denied entrance because of failure to meet entry conditions, no refunds will be available.
