tickitaly.com - sightseeing, not queueing.

This ticket is restricted to European School Groups only! For standard entrance tickets, see Gold Fast-Track and Gold tickets, both skip-the-queue.

Groups are required to provide a list on school stationery of all participants (students and supervisors) divided by class, including the full name and date of birth of all participants. This list must be signed by the school director. Please note that all participants will be required to produce valid ID (passport or ID card) matching the listed details in order to enter the Colosseum. You will need to print your voucher.

Teachers and accompanying adults have to pay more than the student rate - let us know how many non-students are in the group and we will let you know the costs.

At a glance details:

  •   This is a full 'skip-the-queue' ticket.
  •   Go directly to the pick-up desk at the main entrance.
  •   The ground-level of the Colosseum is directly accessible to wheelchair users, the first level is accessible via an elevator.
  •   Ticket valid for 2 days, so you may visit the Colosseum one day and the Forum the next.
  •   Voucher must be printed. You must print these vouchers in order to exchange them for your tickets - an email or a copy of the voucher on your phone or mobile device will not suffice.
  •   Our downloadeable audioguide is in English. If you want other languages then please purchase the 'Audioguide on site' ticket.

Coronavirus in Italy

GREEN PASS - Please note that from the 6th August 2021 all visitors must be able to provide a Green Pass or equivalent showing your EU Digital Covid certificate.

The document should show the number of doses received, dates of vaccination and the batch number.
Please check with your Government travel advisor for the equivalent if you do not have a Green Pass.

Please note that you must comply with the following conditions in order to enter:

  • You must wear a compliant CE mask (Ordinanza RT n.48) which covers both mouth and nose.
  • Your temperature (which will be measured on entry) must not be above 37.5°C.
  • Disposable single-use gloves must be worn at all times.
  • Hands (or gloves) must be cleaned with a disinfectant gel on entry.
  • Visitors must maintain a social distance of 1.8m at all times.

Access to the Colosseum will be exclusively from the "Sperone Valadier" and can be used by individuals or groups of up to 14 people, adequately spaced, who will enter every 15 minutes and will always be accompanied along the entire route. The group limit includes all visitors including adults, children and guides.

For security reasons it will not be possible to admit more than 600 people per day and all visitors will be checked on entry.

To facilitate the security checks, please insert any object (including mobile phones) in the backpack or in the special tray to be inserted into the x-ray machine.

You will not be allowed to enter with bottles, glass containers, alcoholic drinks and spray cans, camping backpacks, bulky bags, suitcases or trolleys. While medium and small shoulder backpacks are permitted they will, like any other bag, be passed through the metal detector.

Visitors must arrive 15 minutes before their access time, wearing a mask. With confirmation you will receive a link to download an App for your mobile device - this App is essential for your visit to the Colosseum.

If your tour includes an audioguide device provided by the Colosseum, you must bring your own earphones.

Available routes will be available through the Colosseum, but these may vary on the day for security reasons and depending on availability.

These conditions may be changed without notice as Italian regulations are updated.
If you are denied entrance because of failure to meet entry conditions, no refunds will be available.
