Every Friday it is possible to visit the Vatican Museums in the evening - available times vary according to season and events. These are official, skip-the-queue, direct entry tickets to the Vatican.
Highlights include the 'Grand Entrance', the courtyards of the Pinacoteca and the Pigna, the Gregorian Egyptian and Pio Clementino museums, the Upper Galleries, Raphael's Rooms, parts of the Borgia Apartment, the collection of Contemporary Art, the Sistine Chapel and the Gallery of the Biblioteca (library).
