Overview
The tour starts in the impressive complex of Vatican museums, home to vast collections of Roman, Greek and Egyptian antiquities and a stunning collection of paintings, sculptures, tapestries and frescoes. Stops along the way include the Pine Courtyard, Museo Pio Clementino, Raphael's Rooms, the Gallery of the Maps and the Gallery of the Candelabra.
Then you'll enter the doors of the Sistine Chapel and wonder at the breathtaking frescoes of Michelangelo, including 'The Creation of Adam' and 'The Last Judgement.'
The tour ends in Saint Peter's Basilica, a vast and spectacular church that includes a range of world famous artworks including Michelangelo's 'Pieta' and Bernini's 'Baldachino.'

24th Apr 2023Because of the crowds and the noise the museums and Sistine Chapel felt rushed and only and only basic info could be shared. Our guide, Frado made us feel welcome.
