An afternoon tour of the Vatican, Sistine Chapel and the outside of St Peters Basilica. Lasting approximately three hours, the tour starts at 2.00 PM and is available on Monday and Friday in low season and Monday to Saturday in high season. Skip-the-queues with preferential entrances.
Lasting approximately three hours, this is a fully guided tour of the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel with an external viewing of St Peters. The tour runs Monday to Saturday in high season, Friday and Saturday only in low season, always in the afternoon, when the Vatican is traditionally less busy. The tour will introduce you to a large part of the Vatican City as well as the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. You'll visit the Gallery of the Candelabras, the Gallery of the Geographical Maps, the Gallery of the Tapestries (Renaissance art), the Sobiesky Hall and the Immaculate Conception Hall before finishing with the Sistine Chapel and then St Peters.

Overview
St. Peter’s Basilica is an active place of worship and it might be closed without prior notice due to religious events. In such a case the tour of the Basilica will be replaced by a tour of the Vatican Library.
Once the guided tour is over you are free to remain inside the Vatican complex and continue your individual explorations, should you so desire.
Being a pre-arranged tour you'll be skipping any entrance queues - there's a special entrance for 'pre-bookers'. Please note that this itinerary is not suitable for those using a wheelchair.
Please note that child buggies/prams are not able to be used on these tours.
This is a group of up 40 visitors and you'll be listening in on provided headsets.
