The tour take in the Colosseum, the Colosseum dungeons and the floor of the arena, and a tour of the nearby Roman Forum.
Overview
It's becoming harder to arrange tours of the Colosseum - regulations are ever-changing - and this exclusive tour is becoming an increasingly popular option. The price reflects the small group size (not exceeding 12 people), but you are getting skip-the-queue special access to the 'restricted' areas of the Colosseum - the underground areas, the arena floor as well as a full exploration of the Forum.
The running order of the tour may well begin with the Forum and then the Colosseum, or vice-versa - much depends on other groups and level of visitors.
Included:
- Guided visit of the Colosseum (general and special-access areas) and the Roman Forum.
- Special access to the Colosseum, arena floor and the Colosseum underground areas.
- Local expert guide (English-speaking)
- Skip-the-line access to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Tickets and all reservation fees for the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
This tour lasts approximately 3 hours and will end at the Roman Forum or at the Colosseum (depending on where it started).
* Regulation changes at the Colosseum mean that for the tour sections covering the lower levels you'll be temporarily joining a larger group where the explanations will be given by internal staff.

Our guide was so knowledgeable and used a great technique to show us what the area would have looked like at the height of the Roman Empire. She answered every question we had and was so kind. Her English was perfect and this tour was truly the highlight of our trip.
