A fully guided 'small-group' tour of the Duomo, the Museo dell'Opera, the Baptistery including an ascent of the Cupola (dome). The ticket also allows you to visit the Campanile, Giotto's bell-tower, on your own at the end of the tour.
Accessibility: The ascent of the Cupola does involve quite a lot of climbing (463 steps) in quite narrow and dark passageways and is not recommended unless you are fit and don't suffer from claustrophobia or similar conditions. The tour is also unsuitable for children under 7 years of age.

Overview
This guided tour, lasting roughly two and a half hours, will give you a privileged insight into the history and the majesty of this incredible concentration of wonders. Group size will never be more than 8 people, all tours are in English, include all skip-the-line entrance tickets and your tour guide, and start at 9:30 through most of the year (any seasonal variations will be clearly presented at time of booking and on your voucher.)
- the Battistero di San Giovanni (Baptistery) - a building that strongly influenced Mediaeval and Renaissance architecture
- an ascent of the Cupola or Duomo di Firenze (Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore) - with a detailed description of the interior and exterior
- the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo (Cathedral museum) with many important sculptures
- Ghiberti's 'Gates of Paradise'
- tickets to climb Giotto's Campanile (bell tower) and spectacular views of Florence from Brunelleschi's Dome.
Please also that since the tour includes a visit to religious buildings there is a strict dress code - please do not wear shorts, sleeveless tee-shirts or other inappropriate clothing, or you may be denied entry.

20th Feb 2023This was an amazing tour. Led by Camilla, she was extremely knowledgeable. This ended up being a private tour so the four of us got a personalized tour with in-depth insights shared by our guide. Do note that the tour takes you to the Bapistery, Museum and the Cathedral. Our tour started around 9:15 and finished around noon so we ended getting a bit of extra time. The ascent to the Cupola is on your own and we had entrance tickets for 12:30p.m. So overall, the activity is 4+ hours, so keep that in mind.5 starsJD, United Kingdom (Great Britain)

2nd Feb 2019Our tour guide was at the meeting point on time. He had our tickets to visit different parts of the complex and he reserved the time to climb the dome shortly after the end of our tour (the tour started at 9 am and the time to climb was 12:30). Our group was very small (5 people), so it was very easy to interact with our guide. We visited all the buildings. Our tour guide definitely loved Florence, and he explained the history of each of the buildings and pointed the most important works of art. 6th Jul 2018After being late my friend and I, we gained tge site ASAP amd the guide and coordinator welcomed us with pleasure and we continued the tour with the group as planned and they gave us directions to continue tge tour on our own. 2nd Jun 2018Federica, the tour guide made this so enjoyable. The tour of the baptistry and external tour of the Duomo was very good but the museum tour surpassed even that.
