We enjoyed it very much; the only issue was the attitude of the Uffizi security people to someone who had some disability issues, not anything to do with tickitaly.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and interesting and we truly enjoyed the tour. The only problem we had (and we understand that it was through no fault of our guide or Tickitaly) was the UffiZi opening late in the day of our tour so our tour was pushed back by an hour or so and while we would have wanted to do the tour leisurely, the above unfortunate circumstance prevented us from doing so. Perhaps the museums could announce delays like this at least a day prior to the tour so we can make alternative arrangements, if necessary.

I really enjoyed the visit to the Vasari Corridor. It was exciting to get into a place to not many people can visit - a haven from the bustle of Florence in July. Our guide was very knowledgeable and the tour fascinating. I would have liked more time to enjoy the self-portraits, especially near the end where the newer ones are. The price was a little on the high side - otherwise I would give the tour a 5 star rating.

Our guide Giovanni was interesting. The Uffizi and Palatine Gallery were great. The grotto at the end is the best part.

Our guide was well versed and easy to understand and we travelled at a pace that enabled us to take in the full beauty of the Uffizi and the Corridor. We all really enjoyed the experience and would recommend it. Our only problem was prior to the tour we were directed to the meeting point by email. However on arrival the receptionist at the address provided advised us that we needed to go to another door which we did, only to be redirected to another entry point. This was also not correct and were directed back to the original meeting point at which point we asked the receptionist ( in our poor Italian- she did not speak English) to phone the number we were given as a contact. Finally all was sorted but we were glad we arrived earlier than advised.
[Tickitaly reply: We always recommned pour clients to follow the instructions indicated on the vouhcers we provide.]

Our tour was interesting and well conducted it could be enhanced by a coffee stop together to get to know a little more about the two main parts of the tour before we started but of course this would make it longer and more expensive this is not a criticism merely an personal observation

The guide was well informed, fluent in English, had a good sense of humor and it was an altogether pleasant and unique experience.

Did not really understand what I had booked but then found out this hidden corridor has the worlds largest collection of self portraits. Tour guide was excellent but tour too quick would have like more time to take it all in.

Very expensive Tour, not really informative tourguide inside of the corridor. The tourguide who led us to the corridor was better by far.

The meeting place for the tour was on a sidewalk. We had been instructed to arrive 15 minutes early. Because it was quite cold, this was very uncomfortable 15+ minutes. As the time approached to begin the tour it started raining, yet the guide refused to walk 100 feet up the street so we could be under the cover of the Uffizi loggia until several of us pointed out the it was past time for the tour to begin. We made our way inside, through security and up to the main gallery level. We were finally introduced to our guide. The tour of the Vasari Corridor was very disappointing. The guide made no real attempt provide any context for what we were seeing. She never even explained who Vasari was or why he was important. As we moved through the collection, she picked out random portraits--she seemed to like portraits of women artists--without making any attempt to tie this together or tell a story or even highlight the most important artists. The Corridor was freezing cold, there was not one opportunity to sit down in over an hour of walking on marble floors and, luckily in for our group, no one needed a bathroom break. I understand that the guide does not control any of these physical factors, but it would have been a good idea to inform the group ahead of time, offer a bathroom break before entering the Corridor--and not add to the physical strain by building-in a wait outside in the rain before the tour began.

While the corridor itself is neat to see and has an amazing history, it is not a beautiful thing in itself, and the tour guide was very average in bringing the history of the time to life.

FABULOUS! Amazing and memorable. Well worth it.

Where do these reviews come from?
About two weeks after you have used your tickets we send an email asking you for your feedback on tickitaly.com and on the individual attractions that you visited. We ask our customers to give us and our tickets a rating out of five stars and to write a short review - all of these reviews come from people that have bought tickets from us.
Why are there more stars awarded than reviews?
Many of our customers opt to award stars rather than write a review.
Why do some reviews have a ? instead of stars?
Some reviewers opt to write a comment but don't enter a star entry. These are sometimes positive and sometimes negative - we include these reviews in the listings after the starred reviews, but we don't include them in the overall ratings.
Where is my review? I can't see anything in the list?
Each review is checked by our staff in order to avoid posting inappropriate content or personal details, and to see if the customer has had a specific problem that needs to be addressed. In most cases these reviews go online with their star rating and any comment that has been made. In the cases that there is an issue that we have to address, such as refunds or specific complaints, we flag the review for response. In those few cases, any star rating is immediately taken into account in our ratings but the actual review is only posted once we have resolved the issue or had an opportunity to respond. Any editorial comment will be clearly highlighted like this: [Tickitaly responds: .....].
Are these reviews real or have you faked them?
All of the reviews and star ratings have come from people that have purchased tickets from us. We are very proud of the service and products that we provide, but obviously we aren't perfect and sometimes things go wrong. Once we have addressed any problems that a customer has had, we will process the original review (although we reserve the right to fix minor typos like ticketitaly).
If a review contains offensive language, abuse or personal insults, we'll publish the stars but omit the text.
