The visit was very interesting - but there's one Point I want to tell you: it would be very helpful, if there would be more "info-Points" in Pompeii, that the visitors are know, where in the big Areal they are at the Moment. Or when there would be more plans that the visitor could see how the place looked like before Vesuv exploded. We seeked the Bordell - but unfortunately we didn't find it. Because we had no idea how to come there. But we enjoyed Pompeii very much (hopefully you know what I mean, because my Englisch is not so good!) Should we ever come to Pompeii again we will book a Guide who can explain everything.

The card was very good to get into places, and the travel included was brilliant

Really found this card useful. It covered all transport and made entering the sites easy - the list of sites covered also gave me additional sites to visit

A great visit although we were not quite sure where to go to exchange our Pompeii card for actual tickets. Better signposting would help.

Enjoyed the viit and the card was easy to get and to use. REMIND people that Mt Vesuvius is IFFY for viability and weather.. Book of places to use was excellent - a MAP would be nice as well

I enjoyed the visit, but the restrooms were filthy at Herculeum

The site was fantastic. The guided tours are too large and cause congestion at points of interest, they should be limited to a set number of people.

The arte card was great at the sites but it was difficult using it on the trains. Many of the station staff did not seem to know about the card and you couldn't use it to get through electronic barriers

It would have been nice to have a small description of Pompeii and a map of the site included with the ticket purchase

The visit was great. However guests should be aware that the opening time is later than advertised

an amazing place . The huge numbers of visitors make it difficult to enjoy because of the crowds, but there is plenty of information available and clear signs to help navigate around the site

Signage at Pompeii for our pass would have been nice. We had to wonder around asking finally found the fast line. Otherwise perfect

Very interesting visit. We arrived early so avoided the worst of the sun and heat. Make sure you have a map/guide book as there is little helpful information inside to direct you round.

Entry to Pompeii was trouble free as I had prebooked online. Thanks for the info.

One of the attractions of pre booking was to avoid the lengthy queues we expected (and encountered) in Pompeii. It was, therefore, annoying to have to queue to collect our entry tickets. When we visited the Vatican Museum and Colosseum in Rome earlier this year and pre booked through you, there was a separate ticket office for pre booked tickets which avoided this. Why does this system not operate at Pompeii?
[Tickitaly responds: We guess that you presented your Tickitaly voucher to the wrong office. Please always make sure to follow the instructions as indicate on your reservation vouchers.]

Where do these reviews come from?
About two weeks after you have used your tickets we send an email asking you for your feedback on tickitaly.com and on the individual attractions that you visited. We ask our customers to give us and our tickets a rating out of five stars and to write a short review - all of these reviews come from people that have bought tickets from us.
Why are there more stars awarded than reviews?
Many of our customers opt to award stars rather than write a review.
Why do some reviews have a ? instead of stars?
Some reviewers opt to write a comment but don't enter a star entry. These are sometimes positive and sometimes negative - we include these reviews in the listings after the starred reviews, but we don't include them in the overall ratings.
Where is my review? I can't see anything in the list?
Each review is checked by our staff in order to avoid posting inappropriate content or personal details, and to see if the customer has had a specific problem that needs to be addressed. In most cases these reviews go online with their star rating and any comment that has been made. In the cases that there is an issue that we have to address, such as refunds or specific complaints, we flag the review for response. In those few cases, any star rating is immediately taken into account in our ratings but the actual review is only posted once we have resolved the issue or had an opportunity to respond. Any editorial comment will be clearly highlighted like this: [Tickitaly responds: .....].
Are these reviews real or have you faked them?
All of the reviews and star ratings have come from people that have purchased tickets from us. We are very proud of the service and products that we provide, but obviously we aren't perfect and sometimes things go wrong. Once we have addressed any problems that a customer has had, we will process the original review (although we reserve the right to fix minor typos like ticketitaly).
If a review contains offensive language, abuse or personal insults, we'll publish the stars but omit the text.
