A private 2 hour guided tour that will take you from The Bocca della Verità - The Mouth of Truth, past Roman monuments and mediaeval churches, through the Jewish Ghetto finishing up on the Isola Tiberina.

Overview
The tour starts at Santa Maria in Cosmedin at the Bocca della Verità, the hand-biting lie-detector made famous by the film Roman Holiday. The area has a wealth of superb Roman temples, arches and theatres as well as some important mediaeval churches including San Giorgio in Velabro and San Nicola in Carcere. The tour proceeds through the Ghetto of Rome before ending up on the ship-shaped Isola Tiberina - The Island between Two Bridges.
Times and itinerary may vary to accommodate masses and other church activities.
Please note that there is a dress code for this tour - you'll need ensure that your shoulders and knees are covered. We'd also advise that you wear comfortable walking shoes!
