Bergamo guided tour

This guided walking tour takes an afternoon to explore the historical centre of Bergamo, enclosed by its 17th century Venetian walls. The grand walls run for more than five kilometres and constitute an incredible testimony to the construction of 15th century defenses.

You'll see the cathedral of St. Maria Maggiore, the baptistery and the Colleoni chapel, the heart of the town at Piazza Vecchia, sitting at the top of the town - you can enjoy a ride by funicular railway to get there. Take some time to soak up the wonderful views, amountainous region that runs all the way to Lake Como.

The tour runs on Mondays througout the year and is conducted in English by an experienced and professional guide. The tour leaves Milan in the early afternoon and returns in the early evening (about six hours after departure), allowing about three hours (you'll have some free time) to explore this cultural and historical gem. You'll be travelling from Milan and back in an air-conditioned coach.
