A fun (and practical) way to explore the wonders of various Italian cities - pedal yourselves around on one of our 'cruiser' bicycles and get the boxes ticked ahead of the crowds!
Whatever your reasons for considering a bike tour (limited time and wanting to cram in a lot of sightseeing in not so much time, or the sheer pleasure and freedom of being on two wheels), we can offer you two splendid ways of seeing Rome, Florence, and Pisa by bike.
Our cruiser bikes (all with excellent brakes and multi-speed gears) may be rented up to a maximum group size of ten people, always ensuring a careful and personal level of attention. We'll meet your party, introduce you to the bikes, provide you with a good map and a complimentary bottle of water, and set you up with an MP3 player with which to listen to our audio guide.
Both tours on offer last for three hours (you can truly earn your lunch or evening aperitivo) and both head off at 10 AM. The difference between the two is simply down to how independent you prefer to be - one tour is unaccompanied, the other sees a qualified tour guide ride with the group, offering valuable insights over and above the audio guide.
What's included?
Rental of cruiser bike (with safety lights), helmet, bottle of water, map and MP3 player for audio guide. The tour is an 'outdoors' one in that we don't go inside any buildings, churches, museums and so on - you will doubtlessly want to return to some places visited once you've completed the tour. Tour two includes all of the aforementioned as well as a knowledgeable tour leader.
