General information on the wine tastings in Italy
Milan, Italy - enjoy a guided wine tasting in the heart of the city
Wind down gradually and pleasantly at the end of a packed day's sightseeing and enjoy an introduction to some fine Italian wine, accompanied by some carefully chosen local produce.
The tastings (in a wine bar in the centre of Milan) last one and a half hours, start at 6.00 PM and are available Monday to Saturday. You'll taste some wines specially selected to mirror the quality of local production, accompanied by the many delicious tastes of the Lombardy region.
Wines and accompaniments are likely to change with the seasons, but a typical selection would be:
- A glass of (white) Chardonnay or Riesling Italico and Renano.
- A glass of (sparkling white) Spumante Metodo Classico.
- A glass of (red) Pinot Nero (Pinot Noir).
- Wines will be accompanied by a selection of cheeses and local cold cuts.
