Transfers to (and from) Florence from your airport - Terms and Conditions.

tickitaly.com (Renting In Italy Srl.) is, in the case of airport transfers, acting as an agent for selected suppliers, all of which are independently owned and managed. Please take note of the information below:

1. Modifications and cancellations.

Up to 48 hours before your scheduled pick-up time you may contact tickitaly either by email or telephone to cancel or request a change to your transfer reservation. For modifications or cancellations after that time, please see point 2 below.

Any and all cancellations will incur a 50 Euro charge.

2. Late arrivals and no-show.

Your confirmation voucher will contain local contact numbers that must be used in case of expected late arrivals or flight problems. In the 48 hours prior to your scheduled transfer time, it is your responsibility to contact (by telephone only) the service supplier here in Italy if you think you will be missing your sheduled transfer time and require your driver to remain at the airport until your flight arrives. The driver will wait at the airport for up to 60 minutes after the transfer time at no extra charge - subsequent hours will be charged at the hourly rate specified at time of booking. It is an absolute requirement that you contact the local supplier to let them know of any delay to your flight.

You may cancel the transfer at up to 3 hours before scheduled transfer time, but ONLY by telephoning the supplied contact number of the service supplier. Such cancellations attract a 50 Euro cancellation fee.

In the case of VERY delayed arrivals where you will clearly not wish for the driver to be waiting at the airport for countless hours, every attempt will be made to re-schedule your pickup, again with the proviso that a telephone call is made to the local supplier with a minimum of three hours notice. Such re-scheduling may well incur extra cost.

If you have not telephoned the local supplier within the 3 hours prior to scheduled transfer time and have not met the driver within 60 minutes of the scheduled transfer time then this will be considered to be a non-refundable no-show.

3. Trip insurance

We stress at every opportunity how vital it is that you have travel/trip insurance. The majority of our museum and event tickets cannot be refunded under any circumstances, and insurance offers peace of mind should cancellation prove unavoidable. The same holds true for airport transfers - reputable travel insurance will largely remove the need to worry about eventualities mentioned in points one and two above.

4. Additional charges

If your flight is delayed then the first hour of lateness is included in the price - there will be no extra charges. Beyond this first hour there is then a fixed fee per each additional hour of delay, currently around 40 Euro for car or mini-van, 60 Euro for limo; these charges will be specified during checkout. If the delay stretches into the period between 10 o clock at night and six o clock in the morning then there will be a 20% night surcharge on these fees.
All transfers can be cancelled (by telephone only) right up to 3 hours before scheduled pickup time. There will be a cancellation fee, but nothing more than that.

Drop-offs and pickups are assumed to be in Florence city and if not there is a fixed charge per extra kilometre. This extra charge will again be specified during checkout but is currently between 75 Euro cents and 1 Euro 20 cents per kilometre. Again, there will be a 20% surcharge on this fee if the transfer runs into the period between 10 o clock at night and six o clock in the morning.

All taxes, toll charges and driver's fees are included in the price.

5. Conditions

Renting In Italy Srl. shall not be held liable for any personal injury or accident, damage to property, delay, inconvenience, or any other irregularity due to wrongful, negligent or arbitrary acts or omission on the part of said independently owned and managed companies. By ordering transport services on tickitaly.com, you agree to hold Renting In Italy Srl. harmless in making arrangements on your behalf and that any claim(s) of damage after arrival shall be sought directly from the supplier.
