Google Art Project, Uffizi Gallery

Ah well, it was a good ride. Now unlikely to ever again sell a ticket for the Uffizi Gallery, we at tickitaly.com are now free to learn lace-making or glass-blowing or dental-hygiene or pole-dancing. You get the idea.

Why is this? Google have taken Streetview and created Corridor & Canvas view, both at the Uffizi and other prestigious galleries around the world, giving you a scroll-around-zoom-in-high-res-athon on dozens of famous pieces. See here.
Bet they haven’t got an annoying skinny bloke sprayed head-to-toe in gold paint, mind.
