Bernini sculpture restoration project at the Vatican

Officially inaugurated earlier this month, the Vatican (at the Pinacoteca) have created a ‘transparent workshop’ where visitors can see the actual restoration work being carried out on models (angels and saints) created by Bernini for the Altars of the Cathedra and the Blessed Sacrament in St. Peters.
