'The Mediterranean' art exhibition in Genoa

‘Mediterraneo, da Courbet a Monet a Matisse’
Palazzo Ducale, Appartamento del Doge, Genoa
27th November 2010 – 1st May 2011
Monday to Friday, 09.00 – 19.00, Saturday and Sunday 09.00 – 20.00

An important exhibition featuring more than 80 works of art collected from galleries and private exhibitions across the world (click here for a blog piece about the transfer and courier work of some pieces from the Columbus Museum of Art in Ohio).

The exhibition is all about the approaches (and contrasts with the northern European schools) to captruing the magic of the sea itself and the fascinating light and tones of the Mediterranean coast.
