An upcoming exhibition – the first of its kind – dedicated wholly to the history of what was one of the most powerful cities of the ancient world.
On show across various areas of the Colosseum and ancient Roman Forum area, featuring over 400 pieces (both domestic and from international collections), the exhibition looks at the ties between ancient Rome and Carthage, as well as the eventual annihilation at the hands of the Roman Empire.
