If you’ve booked a ‘straightforward’ ticket or tour for the Colosseum in Rome then the pictures below (taken May 2012) may well be of use in answering your ‘where is the Colosseum ticket desk’ or ‘how do I collect my ticket’ questions.
Various of our tours have special meeting points, specified accordingly on your voucher, so this post is just for those of you who have a mention of the ‘prenotazioni, reservations desk’ on your voucher.

The four photographs below (click to enlarge) show (1.) the entrance to the Colosseum, (2.) a close-up of the two-lane entrance way where you need to take the left, skip-the-queue lane, (3.) the two lanes once you’re past the main entrance and (4.) the ticket pick up desk itself.
