‘Il Guggenheim. L’avanguardia americana 1945–1980’
Rome, Palazzo delle Esposizioni
7th February – 6th May 2012

Translating as ‘Guggenheim Collection: The American Avant-Garde 1945–1980’, this just opened exhibition (link) features works by Jackson Pollock, Willem de Kooning, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein amongst (many) others.
To quote from the official catalogue:

Guggenheim Collection: The American Avant-Garde 1945–1980 examines major developments in American art during a transformative period in this country’s history, one marked by economic prosperity, political upheaval, and international conflict, as well as vibrant growth in the cultural sphere.
