Every Friday evening between May 6th and July 15th 2011 (**update – and now from the 2nd of September until the 28th of October) the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel will be staying open to visitors until 11 o clock at night.
Just select ‘evening’ from the drop down list when booking these Vatican tickets, and please note that although closing time is at 23.00, the last entry is granted at 21.30, so don’t leave it too late if you’re planning on taking advantage of this interesting opportunity.
