Guided tours of the Uffizi Gallery, Florence, Italy

Tickitaly have partnered with a long-established Florentine tour operator in order to offer additional Uffizi guided tours. There are two reasons for this. Firstly, you may prefer to opt for a guided tour as a preference - there is, after all, a very great deal to see across the numerous rooms and corridors of the Uffizi! Secondly, it's a further attempt to minimise the number of 'sorry, fully booked' messages that we have to send out in response to summertime Uffizi availability requests. Oh, and don't forget - no queuing! We offer similar tours of the Accademia Gallery (home to David), and, should you be interested in tours of both galleries, a combined reduced-priced ticket or the same thing with lunch included.

A fully guided tour of the Uffizi Gallery, Florence, lasting roughly 90 minutes, including your skip-the-line entrance ticket. Once the tour is over you're free to stay in the gallery and continue your visit.

The tours last approximately 90 minutes - all you need to do is arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the tour starts, enjoy the sensation of bypassing the queues, present your voucher, and you'll be inside the Uffizi, ready to discover this most wonderful of galleries in the presence of an expert guide.

Once the guided part of the tour is over (again, roughly 90 minutes), you'll have the chance to enjoy a unique view of Florence from the terrace of the Uffizi Gallery. If you so desire you can then opt to stay in the gallery and explore on your own, perhaps revisiting some of your own highlights.

Tours are available in English, Italian, French, German and Spanish and occasionally are conducted in two languages. Children up to and including the age of 6 pay nothing, all other tickets are full price.

For groups of more than fifteen people it is obligatory to use the 'Whisper' audio system. Your guide will be talking into a small microphone and you'll each be listening on special earpieces. This is included in the price.

To reserve an Uffizi Gallery guide tour, just fill out the booking form, supply us with credit card details, and we'll do the rest. There will be no charge whatsoever until we confirm your reservation. We'll then point you to our secure page, where you can print out your entry voucher. Print it out, take it with you to the Uffizi and present it at the pre-arranged meeting point. As simple as that!

The tour lasts approximately 90 minutes, after which time you're free to continue exploring the gallery under your own steam. The price includes the entrance ticket, the guide and the audio system that is compulsory for groups of more than ten people - this is necessary to avoid a battle-to-be-heard between various tour groups.

Great Tour Guide. Had a glitch with the tickets in the beginning. Not enough for the group but once we got going we truly enjoyed his storytelling. Wonderful energy and knowledge. I would do again.

The Uffizi guided tour we went on was excellent. The guide was enthusiastic and helpful, the personal earpieces made it possible to look at the exhibits and still hear the guide.

Our guide Antonio was superb. His obvious interest and passion for the Uffizi and is artworks and history was contagious. I left wanting to return again to see and learn more. Loved it - was our 4th guided tour and by far the most interesting and enjoyable.
