Having visited the Uffizi Gallery, The Pitti Palace and the Museo di Palazzo Vecchio previously, the Vasari Corridor tour enhanced our experience by linking them all together. Once inside the corridor the hustle and bustle of the Uffizi is left behind with the tour having exclusive use of the corridor. The guide was knowledgable and amusing. The group of approximately 15, small enough to hear him easily. The corridor was used only by the "royalty"of days gone by so it was a privilege to walk in their steps, crossing the Ponte Vecchio bridge to emerge in the Boboli Gardens of the Palazzo Pitti. Original portraits by many famous artists are on exclusive show.The tour was easy to book via Tickitaly and reasonably priced. There were a choice of dates and times to fit in with other itineries and the meeting point easy to find. The is little needed to improve this tour.

I had always wanted to traverse this exclusive corridor ever since I learned about it. Our guide's knowledge of art history, Florentine political history, and of the corridor itself made this tour very enjoyable. It felt special to be escorted through the "secret" doorway in the Uffizi and be the only ones in this elevated walkway above beautiful Florence. The views through the windows were great as we gazed down at the people below. I was so happy that we were permitted to take as many videos and non-flash photos as we wished. Visitors in the summer should be warned that the corridor is quite warm and water or liquids of any kind are not allowed.

I really enjoyed the visit to the Vasari Corridor. It was exciting to get into a place to not many people can visit - a haven from the bustle of Florence in July. Our guide was very knowledgeable and the tour fascinating.
I would have liked more time to enjoy the self-portraits, especially near the end where the newer ones are. The price was a little on the high side - otherwise I would give the tour a 5 star rating.

Very expensive Tour, not really informative tourguide inside of the corridor. The tourguide who led us to the corridor was better by far.
