“The tour was amazing! Our guide was wonderful! Very knowledgeable and kind. Being able to go to the parts that the public didn't have access to was worth every penny. Not over crowded which made it that much more enjoyable. Excellent experience!!”

Colosseum, dungeons, Forum & Palatine hill tour (3.5 hours)

Rapid confirmation - orders usually processed in under 10 minutes.

A three-and-a-half hour immersion in the splendour of Ancient Rome as part of a guided tour that takes in the Colosseum, the underground (dungeon) areas, the Forum and Palatine Hill. Your tour group will not number more than 24, and you'll be accompanied at all times by a professional, english speaking guide.

This is a tour for groups of up to 24 people, accompanied by a dedicated and expert tour guide - the team is composed of passionate archaeologists, architects and art historians. You'll be given access to two sets of restricted areas - the dungeons and the reconstructed arena floor, accessed via the 'gate of death'. You'll also explore the first and second levels of the colosseum.

It's becoming harder to arrange tours of the Colosseum - regulations are ever-changing - and this exclusive tour is becoming an increasingly popular option. The price reflects the small group size, but you are getting skip-the-queue access to the 'restricted' areas of the Colosseum as well as a full exploration of the Arch of Constantine, the Palatine Hill, the Domitian Stadium, the Roman Forum, the Arch of Titus and much more.

Important: If anyone in your booking is under the age of 18 then it is essential that you send us a copy of their passport immediately. This is to satisfy the policy of the authorities in Rome - they require proof of age for any tickets purchased for under-18s and we'll not be able to confirm your order until these copies are provided. Thanks.

Very good guide from The Roman Guy. Fascinating to get into the lower areas of the Colosseum to see how the games were organized from underground. Enjoyed the tour -- plenty of time for taking photos, etc.
