A recent Instagram post by Massimo Osanna (Director at Pompeii) has been liked almost 3000 times. Small beer, perhaps, but, when you consider it’s a picture of an ongoing restoration of a fountain, it’s further testimony to how appreciated ongoing works at Pompeii are, and how excited people are to see the fruits of these labours, in this case, expected by Christmas.
