‘Il Dolce Potere delle Corde. Orfeo, Apollo, Arione e Davide nella grafica tra Quattro e Cinquecento’
Florence, Uffizi Gallery
21st June – 23rd September 2012

A clumsy translation runs to ‘The sweet powers of the cord. Orpheus, Apollo, Orion and David in designs between 15th and 16th centuries’, where cord refers to strings of a plucked instrument such as the harp.
The exhibition takes place in the ‘Gabinetto Disegni e Stampe degli Uffizi’ on the first floor of the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, and entrance to the exhibition is covered by the Uffizi entrance ticket.
