Located close to Udine in the far north east of Italy (to the north of Trieste and Venice), Villa Manin plays host to some unusual events and exhibitions. From the 9th of April until the 28th of August 2011 there is a major exhibition of contemporary art followed by, from the 24th of September 2011 until the 4th of March 2012, a major exhibition of expressionism with a strong emphasis on German art.
