This three hour long walking tour may well be the ideal way to explore the heart of ancient Rome.
You don't need telling about the architectural masterclass that is Rome, and the largest church in the world is possibly something you may have already heard of. We'll tell you instead that this tour lasts 3 hours, starts at 8.30 in the morning (avoiding some heat and perhaps some crowds), runs pretty much every day of the year, and, just to stress this point, includes entry to St Peters, bypassing the lines. The only exception to this is on a Wednesday or Sunday - if you opt for a tour on Wednesday or Sunday you WILL NOT be visiting the interior of St Peters as the church is in use.
