Ticket reservation to take part in a Papal Audience at the Vatican.

Papal audiences (Wednesdays only) are held either in St Peter's Square or the Nervi Hall, as decided by the Pontificial State on the day. Included is a short panoramic tour, pre-arranged tickets, transport and assistance with check in and security checks.

The day begins with a short guided sightseeing trip taking in Rome's many monumental and panoramic views, and finishes with you taking part in an audience with the Pope. The tour only runs on Wednesday as that is when the Pope holds his Public Audiences, either in the square of St Peter's or in the Sala Nervi (Nervi Hall) if deemed necessary. Please note that seating is not guaranteed as this cannot be reserved in advance.

You'll be shown around some of Rome on a deluxe coach with an English speaking tour guide; this is not a tour of Ancient Rome, but a tour that aims to show you some of Rome's more panoramic and striking views, such as the Via Veneto, Via Flaminia, Piazza della Repubblica, the views alongside the river Tiber - Lungotevere and Castel Sant'Angelo - the Foro Italico and Ponte Milvio, to name a few.
You'll approach the Vatican along Via della Conciliazione from whence it's onto St Peters for the Papal Audience - Udienza Papale.

We must point out that it is possible, availability permitting, to queue and obtain tickets yourself on the day before the audience - we're offering here pre-booked availability along with a short tour.

The Papal Audience is in the main a series of small readings, largely in Italian, although there will be greetings in many languages. There is a reading of the Lord's Prayer, in Latin, and the Audience concludes with the Pope's Apostolic Blessing. Usually starting at around 10.30 in the morning, there may well be an earlier start in the case of very hot weather. As the Pope, like many a Roman, heads for the cooler hills during the high Summer, we do not offer this tour during July. Your tour will head off from central Rome at 7.30 in the morning, finishing roughly 5 hours later in St Peter's Square.

HOW YOU'LL GET YOUR TICKETS:

To reserve your tickets for this tour of Rome, just fill out the booking form, supply us with credit card details, and we'll do the rest. There will be no charge whatsoever until we confirm your reservation. We'll then point you to our secure page, where you can print out your voucher. Print it out, take it with you and present it at the pre-arranged meeting point. As simple as that!

I would recommend the Rome tour with Papal Audience. We took a taxi to the meeting point and got on a bus that took us to The Vatican. We arrived early and had great seats. Having the tour gave us confidence that we would definitely see the Pope.
