Information and ticket reservation for a private, guided gondola tour of Venice, Italy

In addition to our standard gondola trip, we also offer this, a longer guided tour of the canals of Venice. The tour lasts an hour, and as you are rowed back across the centuries, the breathtaking views will be accompanied by an excellent and informed guide.

You'll be guided around the 'must-sees', of course, but your personal gondolier will also steer you into the heart of the real Venice, along some of the quieter backwaters of Venice's unique residential areas. This is a city - an experience - where your stock of adjectives is likely to be sorely tested, and a spell in a gondola really is something you should try at least once.

Venice is of course unique, a place where opulence sits atop fragility, grandeur alongside decay, and although the city does repay exploration on foot, it is from the waterways that you'll be granted the most breathtaking views of the palaces of Venice. So relax for an hour as an informative guide entertains you with stories, anecdotes and historical background as you enjoy Venice as a Venetian.

This private gondola tour is available for most of the year, and runs at 2:00 PM in low season and at 10.00 AM and 3.00 PM in high season. Each gondola holds no more than five people; larger groups can be catered for - the guide will be in the first gondola and those in accompanying gondolas will be listening in through a personal audio system.

Please note that the tour has a fixed cost whether there are 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 of you in the group.
