Book tickets for the 2013 Titian exhibition in Rome

'Tiziano' opens on the 1st of march 2013 and runs until the 16th of June 2013 (although this may well be extended). It will feature a range of works by this greatest of Italian masters, on loan from both national and international collections and galleries.

The exhibition is curated by Giovanni C. F. Villa, and over and above the great works on show, it features the results of an incredibly detailed scientific analysis of Titian's output from his apprenticeship days onwards.

The venue for this exhibition is the Scuderie del Quirinale - the stables of the Quirinal Palace, the official residence of the President of the Italian Republic - that sit atop the Quirinal Hill, the tallest of Rome's seven hills. At present there is no dedicated entrance for pre-bookers but there are rarely any large queues.
