Is the 3 hour tour of the Vatican spoken in English? Other languages, as well, at the same time? How does it work?

    • tickitaly says:

Hello. Yes, the tour is in English and no, not in any other language – tours are available in many languages, clearly, but not simultaneously. To avoid loud confusion you’ll be wearing headsets ( the ‘Whisper’ system) and listening to your guide through these.
Please don’t hesitate to ask if you have further questions.

Hello, im trying to book 2 tickets for the Pisa Tower for 4th or 5th April, but unable to do so on the website. Can you assist? also what is included in this pass?>

    • tickitaly says:

Hello. Unfortunately it’s not possible to book online (nor indeed by telephone) for a visit date that is less than 15 days in the future. This is not some perverse roadblock that we’ve come up with, it’s just the way the authorities in Pisa have decided to work. Sorry about that – your only option is to arrive in Pisa and make your reservations for the Leaning Tower on the spot.

How do we know when we are allowed to take photography??

For example is the “Secret Itinerary Doge’s Palace Tour”, “Ca’ Rezzonico”, “Colosseum Dungeon’s Tour”…. Allowed to take photography?

I know San Macro’s Basilica interior doesn’t allow photography.

Hello. For Venice the short answer is ‘No, you may not take photographs or make films’. This is indeed the case for virtually all museums and galleries in Italy and the obvious reason is that the use of flash photography – albeit inadvertently – will harm delicate works of art, often on show in low-light conditions. For the Colosseum the answer is that you should be able to take photographs and films, but do check with your tour guide to be extra sure. Enjoy your visits.
